Intra Company Portability

With a view to inspire healthy competition amongst distributors in the interest of improved customer service, the option of portability to empower customers to choose between distributors serving the same address has been provided. In such a scenario, a customer not satisfied with services of his parent distributor can migrate to the chosen distributor from the list of distributors who are catering to same area for enhanced services. The distributor who would be losing customers in this system would always look forward to wooing existing customers with prompt services. This would result in better customer satisfaction and impetus to distributors for giving best in class services.

With the introduction of portability through registered login in portal and app, the major hurdle in customer exercising portability by physically approaching distributor, submitting request for transfer which may or may not be entertained by the parent distributor and then enrolling with the next distributor, completing the necessary documentation has completely been leveraged by the seamless digital

With intra company portability option being provided online, the customer desirous of changing distributor, submits application in the portal or app and it will be converted into an automatic transfer process even if it is not accepted by the parent distributor. The customer can subsequently avail all services from the distributor of their choice.

To register for Portability, the consumers need to do the following:

2. Register themselves in the site if not registered already.
3. See the list distributors servicing their area and their Star rating in terms of refill delivery performance (5 Star- Excellent, 4 Star- Good, 3 Star- Average, 2 Star- below Average and 1 Star - Poor).
4. Choose the distributor of their Choice from the List.
5. The consumer will then receive an email confirming the portability request and status update.
6. In case of Intra-Company portability request, consumer is not required to visit the parent distributor or Chosen distributor, as all records are digitally transferred.
7. No transfer fees or additional security deposit will be charged for transfer of connection under portability scheme.
8. Proactive electronic tracking of the portability request with escalation matrix and its closure is in place to ensure that a consumer does not have any difficulty in moving to the distributor of their choice.

This initiative will usher excellence in customer service by the distributors as it will bring in healthy competition within the list of distributors serving the area and bring choice to customers who want to change their LPG distributor within Oil Company or want to move to a distributor in proximity to his residence.

Intra Company Refill Booking Portability

• Unlike the afore mentioned portability option where the customer can move from one distributor to another, Refill Portability allows change of distributor only for the delivery of a particular refill.
• The facility is presently available in 5 cities – Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Gurgaon, Pune, and Ranchi.
• Customers shall be able to choose their delivering distributors from the list of same Indane distributors catering to their address. The list of servicing distributors along with their performance ratings shall be displayed when the customer is booking a refill through mobile app/customer portal using registered login. The customer can opt for any of the Indane distributors from the list to get delivery of his current refill booking.
• With customers exercising the right to choose the delivery partner, it will further motivate the distributors to provide the best-in-class services to the customers and improve their performance ratings.
